A little about me…

I am from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham and completed my education at Edgbaston High School. I gained an honours degree in Psychology at Reading University and went on to qualify as a Psychotherapist at Centre Training International School of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Since 2007, I have been working in private practice and went on to complete further training through the National College of Psychotherapy and Hypnosis in order to become UKCP registered.

I’ve worked for an NHS drug and alcohol treatment service for seven years, where I was trained extensively in drugs awareness and harm reduction helping those suffering from the effects of drug addiction. In addition to this, my work has focused on depression and anxiety, in particular, OCD, as these have a tendency to go hand-in-hand with substance misuse. I have completed research projects on both OCD and performance anxiety.

I now solely work in private practice alongside bringing up a young family.
